Role: Qualified SEND Teaching Assistant

Rate of pay: £425 – £475 – Dependant on experience

Location: Cannock – WS11

**About the role**

Connex Education is seeking a proactive SENDTeaching Assistant to join a supportive Primary school environment. This role provides the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Specifically those with Autism and challenging behaviours. As a SEND teaching Assistant, you will offer support to a wide range of pupils on a group and 1.1 basis, focusing on emotional development as well as academic.

**Role Requirements**

  • Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or Equivalent Level 3 UK Educational qualification is required.
  • Previous experience working in Educational is desirable.
  • A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
