Job summary

Redhill Primary School in Cannock is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support early learners in Read Write Inc. phonics and KS1 literacy. You will work in small groups and 1:1 sessions, collaborating with teachers to raise attainment and foster a love of learning.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at Redhill Primary School, a vibrant primary school committed to nurturing confident, curious, and capable learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Read Write Inc. phonics sessions in small groups and one-to-one settings.
  • Provide tailored support to KS1 children, helping to raise attainment in reading, writing, and early numeracy.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Assist in tracking pupil progress and adapting support strategies accordingly.
  • Foster a positive, nurturing atmosphere that promotes resilience and a love of learning.

We’re looking for someone who:

Actual Salary: £19,283 - £19,898
Working hours: 32.5 hours – 38 weeks plus 5 Inset days – 39 weeks
