Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities

• Provide in:class support as a teaching assistant to Year 2 pupils who need extra help with core subjects.
• Work alongside the class teacher to develop and deliver engaging lessons that capture students attention.
• Plan and deliver small:group and one:to:one interventions in key subjects such as literacy and numeracy.
• Use a variety of exciting resources and activities to make learning fun and interactive for students.
• Adapt lessons and resources to meet the individual learning needs of each child.
• Assist in managing classroom behaviour and create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment.
• Support children with additional learning needs (SEN) and help them reach their full potential.
  
  

Teaching Assistant Requirements

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (desirable but not essential).
