About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join our supply team and support local schools on an ad-hoc basis. This is an ideal opportunity to work flexibly, supporting pupils in their learning while experiencing a variety of school environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom support to teachers and assist in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Support individual pupils or small groups to enhance their learning and development.
  • Setting up and tidying away learning materials
  • Supervising children during breaks and lunchtimes
  • Assist with classroom management and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Supporting children with additional needs (SEN, EAL, etc.)
  • Adapt to the needs of different schools and year groups.
  • Uphold school policies and procedures, promoting the welfare and safeguarding of all pupils.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (desirable but not essential).
  • Is enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable.
  • Has a passion for working with children and supporting their education.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is professional, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
  • Happy to work in all year groups across EYFS / KS1 and KS2
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., CACHE, NCFE, NVQ)
