Job summary

Westover Green Community School and Autism Centre in Bridgwater invites a motivated Teaching Assistant to support children individually, in groups or as a class under the direction of the teacher. You will help access the curriculum and celebrate small achievements in a supportive team.

The role is permanent, 25 hours per week over 4 days, term-time only, with a Health Cash Plan as a benefit. Closing date 30/08/2026 and interviews soon after.

Job description

Westover Green Community School and Autism Centre is seeking a motivated and values-driven Teaching Assistant to join our team in the main school. This is an exciting opportunity to give support to children, individually, in groups or as a class (under the direction of the teacher), so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement.
