Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a secondary school in Ealing. The role welcomes candidates with SEN experience and those starting their career in education.

A STEM degree is preferred but not essential, and there is potential for contract extension or permanent placement based on performance. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, starting 02/11/2026 with a temporary contract until the end of the academic year.

Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a Secondary school in Ealing. The school is looking for someone who is enthusiastic and who has a can-do attitude. The role is open to candidates with previous SEN experience and for those who are looking to start their career in education. Although not essential the school would prefer candidates with a degree in a STEM subject. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with children and young people.
• A degree.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
