The Role
As a Teaching Support Apprenticeship Trainer/Assessor, you'll coach and guide learners across:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant
Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager
You'll deliver engaging training, assess progress, and provide tailored support to help learners succeed - both in their roles and through End-Point Assessment.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial assessments and create tailored learning plans
Deliver training sessions (virtual and in-person), covering Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours
Provide guidance on safeguarding, British Values, Prevent, and career development
Monitor learner progress and ensure timely achievement of portfolios and qualifications
Deliver or support Functional Skills (Maths and English) as needed
Collaborate with employers to support learning in the workplace
Identify and support Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance reporting
Promote online safety, mental health awareness, and career development
Stay up to date with standards through CPD and standardisation activities

About You
Essential:
A recognised teaching qualification (ideally Level 5 or equivalent)
Experience as a Teacher, TA, or Education Manager
Proven track record of managing performance through people
Level 2 (or above) qualifications in Maths and English
Strong knowledge of apprenticeships and the education sector
Confident in using digital platforms, ePortfolios, and IT systems
Desirable:
Assessor (CAVA), IQA
