Teaching and Learning Lead with a Focus on Writing / Class Teacher

MPS-UPS + TLR2a

To commence September 2025



The Governing Body and Headteacher are seeking to appoint an outstanding, experienced, hardworking and motivated Writing Leader to join our team.



We are looking for:

• An exemplary classroom practitioner with a proven commitment to high expectations and raising standards for all groups of children

• A proven record of raising attainment of all children and good or better progress for pupils

• Evidence of continually improving the teaching and learning in a whole school curriculum area over a period of time



The successful candidate will strategically lead writing across the whole school and work closely in partnership with the Deputy Headteacher and other core subject leaders to ensure the school delivers the highest standards of care and education for all the children in Key Stage 2.
