About the Role

St Catherine’s C.E. Primary School is seeking a patient and highly motivated Teaching Assistant Level 2 SEND to support students with special educational needs, initially in KS2. The role involves supporting small groups and whole class activities, focusing on academic, social, and emotional development. You will work closely with teachers and professionals to meet pupil needs and promote high standards of teaching and learning.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be experienced with neurodiverse children
  • Have a proven track record of high-quality support
  • Be flexible, positive, and caring
  • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Contribute to the school's Christian ethos and community

Main duties include supervising pupils and supporting their access to the curriculum. The role requires a team player who can build rapport with pupils and staff, motivate others, and demonstrate resilience.
