Overview

TEACHING & LEARNING ASSISTANT – Entry Level Maths Lead - D GRADE – p/t Fixed Term Contract

We are looking to appoint a D Grade innovative temporary Teaching & Learning Assistant, supporting and delivering learning for Entry Level Maths. You will join our team of dedicated and committed professionals and will need to have an interest in working with young people and be looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in this area. Many of our Teaching & Learning Assistants have undertaken training opportunities provided and have gone on to careers in teaching.

Contract and Hours

The hours of work are 28.33 hours per week, 47.36 weeks per year pro rata contracts. Monday to Friday inclusive, 8.20am to 3.00pm (term time only).

Salary

The salary scale for this post is LGA Scale 6 currently £32,061-£33,699 pa, full-time equivalent. The actual pro rata starting salary is £22,358 per annum. There are also opportunities to increase your salary by running lunchtime and homework clubs.
