Job summary

Ladycross Infant School in Sandiacre is seeking a dynamic Teaching Assistant for its Nursery. The role is full-time, 8.45am–3.30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break, and is a temporary post starting on 2nd November 2026.

Ladycross Infant School is a large, happy school in Sandiacre. The pupils, staff and Governors are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic, fun, hardworking and motivated teaching assistant to join our friendly, experienced and dedicated team. Initially the post will be in Nursery. The post is full time, starting at 8.45am and finishing at 3.30pm 5 days per week. There will 30 minute lunch break. This is a temporary position, starting from 2

nd November 2026. This is a grade 6 position.

• Has a passion for education and inspirespupils.
• Is, or has the potential to be, anexcellent teaching assistant with experience of teaching small groups.
• Has knowledge of the EYFS curriculum,including assessment procedures and is able to support the children toachieve their best.
• Is warm and friendly and develops excellent relationships with parents and carers.
• Has a sense of humour and is fun, fullyembracing all aspects of school life.
• Worked with children with Autism, ADHD, Non-Verbal and Complex Needs
• Will embrace our school ethos and add to our brilliant team.
