Teaching Assistant – Llandybie Area
Full-Time | Immediate Start | Competitive Pay

Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Do you have experience working with young people, either professionally or personally? We are currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team in the Llandybie area.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide classroom support across all key stages (Foundation Phase to Key Stage 2)
  2. Assist with lesson preparation, classroom management, and individual or small group interventions
  3. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  4. Support children with varying needs to reach their full potential

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  1. Have experience working with children or young people (education, sports coaching, youth work, personal/family experience, etc.)
  2. Be reliable, flexible, and confident covering a range of year groups and subjects
  3. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Be enthusiastic and proactive in supporting teaching staff and pupils
  5. Have access to their own transport (essential due to the location and travel requirements)

Desirable but not essential:

  1. Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2 or 3, or equivalent)
  2. Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs (ALN)

Transport: Must have own transport
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm Full-time (part-time may be considered for the right candidate)

Pay: £89.38 daily rate
