Job description

Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher

English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts

St Joseph's School Papanui has several permanent teacher positions available due to three fixed term positions ending in 2025.

We are seeking a dynamic, committed teacher to join our vibrant team. The successful applicant will bring energy, creativity, and a genuine love of teaching that inspires learners and colleagues alike. We are looking for someone who thrives on collaboration, enjoys sharing ideas, and works closely with others to design engaging learning experiences that enable all students to succeed.

In our supportive and collegial environment, you will have the opportunity to co-plan, co-teach, and contribute to a strong professional learning culture. Your role will include delivering engaging lessons aligned to the New Zealand Curriculum and contributing fully to school life.
