A leading company in education is looking for a passionate Primary School Teacher to join their teaching staff in Chorley. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons to Year 6 students, assessing their progress, and fostering a positive learning environment. With a focus on student success, candidates should possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience. Competitive hourly rates are offered for this temporary position.

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
£13.75 - £14.50 Per hour
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 6 students in line with the national curriculum.
2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and colleagues as required.
3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide events and initiatives.
5. Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as necessary.
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. Relevant degree in Education or related field.
3. Clear understanding of the national curriculum and assessment requirements for Year 6.
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching in a primary school setting.
1. Strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
1. Postgraduate qualification in Education.
2. Experience working with Year 6 students specifically.
1. Work primarily within a classroom setting.
2. Full-time hours with occasional additional duties outside regular hours.
3. Interaction with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis.
4. Some physical activity may be required during school events and activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
