Job description

Location: Woodland View School Bankhead Road Kirkintilloch, G66 3LI

Salary: £40,305 - £50,589 per year

Contract Type: Temporary

Position Type: Full Time

Hours: 35 hours per week

Job Requirements

PVG / Disclosure Scotland

This criteria applies to all roles within East Dunbartonshire Council requiring PVG/Disclosure checks.

For posts considered Regulated Roles under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020, successful candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment is confirmed.

Candidates will bear the cost of the check, which will be deducted from the first salary payment. In some cases, deductions may be made in installments, subject to approval by the HR & OD Manager. If an employee leaves before full deduction, the remaining amount will be deducted from the final salary.

This applies to both new applicants and existing employees applying for roles requiring a PVG check.
