What skills and experience we're looking for
  • Recent experience of working with learners of all abilities in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and, desirably, across the First School age range
  • A track record of successful leadership of a subject, preferably EYFS
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire
  • The ability to initiate, manage and embed improvements effectively
  • A track record in successfully developing and managing a team of staff
  • The ability to take well informed decisions and delegate tasks effectively
  • The desire and ability to work collaboratively with parents/carers and other professionals
  • A clear understanding about how to effectively safeguard children
  • Extremely high expectations of pupils and a full commitment to raising standards for all children, whatever their needs
