I’m a British Pakistani and grew up in the UK.
Unfortunately, I was not taught Urdu growing up, as my parents mostly spoke to me in English.
I’m essentially a beginner, though I do know a few words and common phrases.
My parents speak both Punjabi and Urdu, so the little I do know is a mix of both, and I’m not always sure which language I’m using.
I’m looking for an Urdu tutor who can help me build my speaking and listening skills so I can hold a basic conversation, especially when visiting Pakistan or speaking to elders in my family.
I’m hoping to start from the basics and gradually build up confidence in everyday spoken Urdu.
Responsibilities:
