A local educational institution is seeking a dedicated Teacher Support Assistant to work part-time in Key Stage 1. Teacher Support Assistant (KS1) – St Joseph’s Catholic Academy
St Joseph’s Catholic Academy is seeking a hardworking, dedicated Teacher Support Assistant to work in Key Stage 1. The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Class Teacher to provide high quality learning support experiences to children in the classroom and to deliver interventions to individuals and small groups. St Joseph’s has a strong community feel and is committed to continual improvement and encouraging and enabling every child to succeed. We offer an experienced staff team and friendly, well behaved children who love learning.
This position is permanent, term time only for 11 hours per week (Specific times/days to be agreed).
Actual salary: £6,547 - £7,025 per annum
The Newman Catholic Collegiate will be merging with The Painsley Catholic Academy (which will be called St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi Academy Trust (St Gabriel) on 1 November 2025). This means that as of that date, all The Newman Catholic Collegiate employees will TUPE over to St Gabriel on their existing pay and conditions.
