Day Rate: £160 - £220 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Job Description:

Are you ready to lead change and champion inclusive education? A warm and ambitious primary school in Luton is on the lookout for a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team this Autumn.

This is a unique opportunity for a qualified teacher with a strong SEN background to step into a strategic, hands-on role where every decision you make has a direct impact on pupil outcomes. The school supports children with a range of needs — including autism, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH - and is committed to providing a truly inclusive learning experience.

You’ll work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to design and deliver impactful interventions, embed inclusive practices, and create a classroom culture where all pupils feel empowered to thrive.

Your Role Will Include:

• Leading small-group and individual interventions tailored to specific SEN needs
• Modelling inclusive strategies and differentiation for colleagues
• Supporting class teachers with planning and behaviour strategies
• Liaising with families and outside agencies to ensure joined-up support
• Monitoring pupil progress against EHCP outcomes and adapting provision
• Helping to shape a whole-school approach to SEND and inclusion
