We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to help shape education provision in Dumfries and Galloway. Our commitment to teachers is evident through the provision of high-quality professional learning for all. The position is for 14 hours per week and is based in the Learning Centre within Hecklegirth Primary School.

Applicants for teaching posts must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS), Clerwood House, 96 Clermiston Road, Edinburgh, EH12 6UT in the appropriate sector.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
Applicants who have resided outside the UK within the last 5 years, if offered a position, will need to provide a police record check from the police authority in the country or countries of residence, in addition to a Disclosure Scotland Check.
