Dumfries and Galloway Council is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher for Rephad Primary School's Learning Centre. The role involves supporting pupils with various additional support needs in a part-time capacity. A relocation package may be available, and candidates must be registered with the GTCS.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated class teacher to work 14 hours per week at Rephad Primary School within the new Learning Centre. The successful candidate will support pupils with a wide range of significant additional support needs, including physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioural needs. They will also carry out related activities and developments following local, national, and school policies under the direction of the Headteacher.
A significant relocation package of up to £5000 may be available to the successful candidate (Permanent positions only). Please see attached guidance for further information.
Applicants for teaching posts must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS), Clerwood House, 96 Clermiston Road, Edinburgh, EH12 6UT, in the appropriate sector.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
Applicants who have been resident outside the UK within the last 5 years, if offered a position, will be required to provide a police record check from the relevant country or countries of residence, in addition to a Disclosure Scotland Check.
