We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated teachers to help shape education provision in Dumfries and Galloway. Our commitment to teachers is demonstrated through high-quality professional learning opportunities. This position is for 28 hours per week and is based at Belmont Children's Centre, which supports children with severe and complex needs.

A relocation package of up to £5000 may be available to the successful candidate (Permanent positions only). Please see attached guidance for further information.
Applicants must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS), Clerwood House, 96 Clermiston Road, Edinburgh, EH12 6UT, in the appropriate sector.
This post is considered regulated work with vulnerable children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check before a formal offer of employment is made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
Applicants who have resided outside the UK within the last 5 years, if offered a position, will need to provide a police record check from the relevant authorities in their country of residence, in addition to a Disclosure Scotland Check.
