About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Girls’ PE to join our team on a maternity cover basis. In this role, you will deliver high-quality PE and games lessons across Years 7 to 13, contribute to an active and thriving co-curricular programme, and help lead school sports teams. You’ll also have the opportunity to teach GCSE and A Level PE, and play a key role in inspiring students through sport. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, leading after-school training sessions, and supporting fixtures throughout the school year. Your input at department meetings and commitment to assessment and reporting will help maintain our high standards.
This is a part-time, fixed term contract role acting as Maternity Cover. There is a proposed 1st September 2025 start date.

You’re someone who brings energy, resilience, and a passion for developing young people through physical activity. You have a degree, QTS and experience teaching across a range of sports— sport specific expertise in Netball, Football or Rugby is welcome but not essential. You’re a strong communicator, highly organised, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Above all, you are committed to safeguarding and to supporting students of all abilities to enjoy, achieve, and grow through sport.
