Job description

CER are currently working with a secondary school in the Liverpool area who are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Sociology and Psychology on a full time basis to start in January 2026.

The role requires a Sociology and Psychology teacher with previous experience delivering Sociology at KS4 & KS5 and Psychology at KS5. The ideal candidate must have the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons to help ensure success in the development of students.

The school we are working with encourages intellectual and social development with an extremely supportive team from mentors to senior leadership.

To be considered for this role, we will need -

Qualifications
  • Qualified Teaching Status in the UK, ECT are welcome to apply.
  • Previous experience delivering Sociology & Psychology at KS4 and KS5.
  • Proof of Right to Work.
  • A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
  • A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us.
