- Salary Range: £37,057 to £54,604 (inclusive of London Weighting), dependent on experience, pro rata

We are currently seeking a dedicated Teacher of Sociology who is passionate about teaching and has a proven track record of delivering outstanding educational outcomes.
Day-to-day of the role
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in Sociology to students aged 16-19.
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that engage and challenge students, fostering their academic and personal growth.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them achieve their highest potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share effective teaching practices.
- Contribute to the pastoral care of students, ensuring a supportive environment that promotes their well-being and academic success.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Sociology or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning at the sixth form level.
- Strong understanding of the latest educational practices, methodologies, and assessment tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and motivating students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching.
