We seek an outstanding classroom practitioner to work across the Social Sciences department, which includes a Curriculum Leader, an Assistant Curriculum Leader, and a full-time teacher of Social Science.

With increasing popularity at Level 2 and Level 3, the successful candidate will teach across subjects including:

  • Level 2: Health and Social Care, GCSE Sociology, GCSE Psychology
  • Level 3: Health and Social Care, Criminology, A Level Psychology, BTEC Psychology

Experience in teaching Sociology is essential; experience in Criminology, Health and Social Care, and Psychology is desirable. Timetabling and CPD are tailored to staff expertise to support broad subject teaching. Join a knowledgeable, supportive team with experienced examiners and postgraduate scholars. This role suits both ECTs and experienced staff.

The department values CPD and staff development, offering leadership opportunities and NPQ qualifications. Our outstanding ECT Programme provides dedicated support for early-career teachers.
