Science Teacher September Start

Location: Stockport

Start Date: September 2025

Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

GSL Education Manchester is recruiting a passionate Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Stockport from September 2025. This full-time role offers an opportunity to work within a strong Science department that is committed to academic excellence and hands-on learning.

About the Role:

You will be teaching general science at KS3 and your preferred specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) at KS4. The school encourages creative teaching and is well-equipped for practical and investigative science.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver engaging and differentiated science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  2. Support pupils in developing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills
  3. Track and monitor student progress to support academic growth
  4. Contribute to department initiatives and enrichment opportunities
