Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a relevant field is required.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of the science curriculum for KS3 and KS5.

About The Role

As part of our vibrant Science department, you will deliver high-quality lessons across a range of disciplines - Biology, Chemistry, and Physics - encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning. Our students are eager to engage, and our facilities are well-equipped to support practical, hands-on science education.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Assess student progress effectively and use data to inform teaching strategies
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes high expectations
• Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the Science department
