We are working with an Ofsted Outstanding secondary school in the WA3 area (easily accessible from Leigh, Lowton, Culcheth, and surrounding towns), seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their successful department from September 2025.

Supportive and collaborative science department
Excellent behaviour and high pupil engagement
State-of-the-art science labs and resources
Strong CPD programme and clear progression pathways
Full-time Science teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available for the right candidate)
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
Tracking and supporting student progress to help every learner achieve their potential
UK QTS (or equivalent) and a Science-related degree
Experience teaching General Science in secondary schools
Excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills
A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
