Are you passionate about new ideas and looking for an exciting teaching role?

GSL Education are looking for a Science Teacher to join a well-respected mainstream secondary school in Southampton. You will be part of a friendly and well-equipped department that provides great learning experiences for students.

As a Science Teacher, you will teach fun and interesting lessons to students. You will make Science exciting by using hands-on experiments, real-life examples, and your enthusiasm for the subject to inspire young learners.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Design and teach Science lessons tailored to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Encourage and inspire students to reach their full potential in Science.
• Plan and assess lessons following the national curriculum.
• Support the school community and contribute to the development of the Science department.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ECT status, or a recognised overseas teaching qualification.
• Strong knowledge of Science.
• Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
• A passion for education and the ability to inspire students.
• A current CV and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
