Job description

Avon Valley Academy is looking to appoint a highly skilled Teacher of Science to join its supportive and dedicated Science Department, with effect from September 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT, who is passionate about helping every student to succeed. Full or part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate.

Working Hours: Full time or Part time.

We are a thriving, co-educational school, educating young people between the ages of 11 and 16. The successful candidate will be able to teach across the full age and ability range (Key Stage 3 – Key Stage 4) and will be a team player happy to collaborate and share ideas with other teachers within the Science Department. QTS status is essential for the role.
