Science Teacher

Location: Bristol

Pay: £162.31 - £234.08 per day

Type: Long-term contract

Hours: Full-time

Start date: September 2nd 2025

Elementa Support Services is excited to present an opportunity for a Teacher of Science at a respected, South Gloucestershire secondary school. Teaching across all age groups, to include GSCE lessons, this is an ideal role for someone looking for a new role in September, and suitable for ECTs looking to progress within their teaching career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in General Science, tailored to meet the needs of all students.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in school events and professional development opportunities.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
  • Proven experience teaching General Science at the secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for educating and inspiring students in science.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to the school’s academic goals.
Contract & recruitment information

Elementa is the recruiting partner therefore applicants being considered for the role after pre-screening will be required to complete the registration process for Elementa.
