The Governors are seeking to appoint a motivated and committed Teacher of Science (with a preference in Physics or Chemistry) to join our Science Team. We are looking for someone who can inspire engagement in the classroom and capture the enthusiasm pupils have for learning Science. The successful applicant will be highly motivated to inspire pupils at all levels, from ages 11-18.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities to join our passionate, hard-working and friendly Science Faculty:

  • ECT or Qualified Teacher Status (this role is suitable for NQTs too)
  • A passion for excellence in the teaching of the Sciences
  • The ability to teach up to A Level preferred
  • The ability to maintain and raise standards of student attainment and achievement and to monitor and support student progress
  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
