Responsibilities and opportunities

Teach all sciences at GCSE and A Level and contribute to the planning and delivery of high-quality lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5. Support and participate in the ongoing development of the Science Faculty within a large, multi-disciplinary team. Promote high standards of student achievement and progress and support the Sixth Form area dedicated to A Level teaching.

Qualifications and experience

The role would suit both an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher. A commitment to striving for excellence in teaching and learning and a genuine interest in making a difference to students responsible for their own learning is essential.
