Job summary

Kingsmead School in Enfield is seeking a passionate Teacher of Science to inspire curiosity and secure excellent progress across KS3 and KS4. You will deliver engaging lessons, develop the science curriculum and support your students' academic growth within a collaborative science team.

Alongside teaching, you will tutor and contribute to enrichment activities, promoting high standards, inclusive practice, and the overall well-being and achievement of all pupils in our ambitious school.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
• Experience delivering science across KS3/KS4.
• Proven ability to raise student progress and attainment.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons, foster a love of learning, and support students to achieve excellent academic progress across Key Stages 3 and 4. Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you will contribute to the ongoing development of our Science curriculum, ensuring that all students are equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed.

As a Teacher of Science at Kingsmead, you will share our commitment to high standards, inclusive practice and the development of the whole child. Alongside your teaching responsibilities, you will play an active role in the wider life of the school through tutoring, enrichment opportunities and pastoral support, helping students to flourish both academically and personally.
