Job Overview

Are you a Teacher of Science looking to join an Outstanding Secondary School in September 2025? This full-time, permanent position is at a supportive school with excellent results and a creative learning environment.

Department and Environment

The Science Department has a strong team, including young, experienced, and Teach First Teachers, supported by Science graduate Teaching Assistants. The school has impressive Progress 8 results across KS3, 4 & 5.

Responsibilities and Opportunities

• Inspire and motivate students in Science
• Collaborate with a team of Science Teachers
• Opportunities for TLR roles such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities
• Support for Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs) including bespoke induction and mentorship

Salary and Location

Salary: MPS1-UPS3 (£38,766 - £60,092) + TLR (depending on experience)

Location: Bromley, with good transport links

Candidate Requirements

• UK QTS or equivalent
• Strong academic background (Degree, A Levels, GCSEs)
• Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
• Ability to work well in a team and accept feedback
