Job summary

Star King Solomon Academy is seeking an outstanding teacher to join a high-performing school in central Birmingham. The successful candidate will deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning for pupils aged 4 to 16 within a faith-based, values-driven environment.

You will demonstrate a track record of improving pupil outcomes, work well in a team, and bring strong organisational skills and motivation to support both pupils and colleagues within Star Academies.

Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will have a degree-level qualification and QTS.
  • Ability to teach to GCSE standard is essential.
  • Experience delivering outstanding attainment and achievement over time.
  • Experience with innovation and creativity to engage and progress learners.

About Star King Solomon Academy

Star King Solomon Academy is an all-through Christian faith school for 4 to 16 year olds in central Birmingham. In addition to serving Christian children and families, the school welcomes children of all faiths and beliefs. We joined Star Academies in 2024 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism.

The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning. You will have:
  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
