Job summary

Queen Elizabeth's School in Wimborne is seeking a Teacher of Religious Studies (MAT Cover) to join our Humanities team. The role involves teaching Religious Studies across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 and contributing to a centrally provided curriculum, assessment strategies and ongoing professional development.

Applications from ECT colleagues are welcome. The post is a temporary maternity cover with a salary ranging from £32,916 to £45,352 per year, and a full-time contract.

Qualifications

  • Awareness of Rosenshine's principles of instruction.
  • Understanding of key substantive and disciplinary concepts in Religious Studies.
  • Awareness of concepts in Tom Sherrington's Walkthru or Doug Lemov's Teach Like a Champion.

Responsibilities

This job is (Full Time/ Part Time/ Part Time - Term Time Only:)(Part time will be considered)

It is offered on a Temporary basis until 12 months maternity cover basis.
