Full-Time | Long-Term | Secondary School | NQT or Experienced Teachers Welcome

Are you a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Cardiff this September? Whether you’re an experienced DT teacher or a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT/ECT), Teaching Personnel wants to hear from you!

We are currently working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in Cardiff that is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Religious Education to join their team for the new academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire creativity and innovation in pupils aged 11-16, and to play a key role in a supportive and well-resourced department.

  • Role: Religious Education/ Studies Teacher (NQT/ECTs welcome)
  • Start Date: September 2025
  • Contract: Full-time, long-term (with the potential for permanent)
  • Pay: £166 - £222 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and enlightening Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
  • Contribute to a positive learning environment that supports academic and personal development
  • Participate in departmental planning, meetings, and school events
  • Support and mentor pupils with varying abilities and needs

Who We're Looking For:

  • QTS or working towards QTS (suitable for NQTs/ECTs)
  • Specialism in Religious Education (other subjects experienced advantageous)
  • Strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge
  • Passion for the subject and enthusiasm for fostering an interest in creating global citizens
  • Willingness to become part of a collaborative and committed team
