Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented teacher of RE and Citizenship to join a large secondary academy in Oldham.

This is a full-time supply teaching role from September 2025.

The Role

Teacher of Core Religious Education, RE GCSE and Citizenship

Five days a week 8.15am to 3pm

Teacher of Core Religious Education lessons with a focus on developing open- minded and empathetic learners supporting British Values

Positive confident classroom management skills where students can share beliefs in a safe supportive environment.

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to a broad range of beliefs and cultures.

The academy are interested in hearing from early career teachers, experienced QTS teachers or FE lecturers with experience of teaching Religious Education to students aged 11 to 18.

• Hold QTS Status or QTLS or equivalent Further education qualifications such as PGCE14+ or Certificate of Education
