Job description

Location: 1 Craighalbert Way, Cumbernauld , G68 0LS

Salary: £38,365 - £51,970 per year

Contract Type: Permanent

Position Type: Full Time

Hours: 35 hours per week

The Craighalbert Centre (The Scottish Centre for Children with Motor Impairments) purpose is to work with families and partners to deliver integrated learning, therapy and care for children in Scotland, supporting the enablement of children affected by motor impairments to achieve their potential and fulfil their ambitions.

We are actively seeking individuals who possess a deep passion for working collaboratively within a team dedicated to supporting children with additional support needs. In the role of Teacher of Pupils with Complex Additional Support Needs, you will play an indispensable role within our highly skilled and committed teams, bringing your enthusiasm to your work every day.

As an integral part of our commitment to fostering a personalised and inclusive environment, we create specialised settings that nurture children's learning, curiosity, well-being, and ongoing health. Your duties will involve planning and delivering assigned areas of the curriculum which may be between Milestones or at SAQ National 1 level or above to a group of leaners. Additionally, you will ensure the seamless integration of health and therapy supports into all curriculum-related activities for the children.
