Qualifications

As a Teacher of Psychology, you will:

• Deliver engaging, challenging and inspiring Psychology lessons across the relevant age and ability ranges.
• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching that enables students to make strong progress.
• Develop students' knowledge, understanding and enthusiasm for Psychology.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and challenged.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback to support continued development.
• Contribute to the development of the Psychology curriculum and wider department priorities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share good practice and drive high standards of teaching and learning.
• Support the wider life of the academy and contribute positively to its culture and values.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching Psychology, ideally at GCSE and/or A Level.
• Has a strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for Psychology.
• Is committed to delivering consistently high-quality teaching and learning.
• Has high expectations of all students and is passionate about helping young people achieve their potential.
