In the heart of Greenwich, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is on the hunt for a Teacher of Physics for a January 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time contract.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Teacher of Physics who is keen to add value to an expanding Physics Department. The school is renowned for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The school is well invested in the Education sector, setting new teaching practices and training both new and existing staff. It's an exciting time at the school!

Experienced Physics Teachers can take on a TLR such as KS3 Coordinator or Pastoral Responsibility. Early Career Physics Teachers (ECT) will be enrolled in the school's bespoke ECT induction and will work alongside a range of young and experienced Physics Teachers.

• MPS1-UPS3 - £38,766 - £60,092 + TLR (Size depending on experience)
• Located in the Borough of Greenwich

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining it
• Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
• Must meet the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
• You must be able to work as part of a large team of Physics Teachers
• Must be willing to listen to feedback
