Location: Lambeth
Contract Type: Permanent
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Inner London payscale. Open to qualified or exceptional Unqualified Teachers

Are you an inspiring Teacher of Physics looking to make a real impact in a diverse and dynamic secondary school in Lambeth?

Aspire People are working with a thriving and forward-thinking school who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Physics to join their successful Science department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Physics, have strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding Science education to students of all abilities.

Teacher of Physics - Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and deliver high-quality Physics lessons across Key Stages 3-5
  2. Use a variety of teaching and learning strategies to engage students and promote progress
  3. Assess, monitor, and report on student attainment and development
  4. Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum and departmental resources
  5. Provide support and intervention for students who need additional help
  6. Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and wider enrichment activities
  7. Uphold high standards of behaviour, attendance, and punctuality
  8. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Teacher of Physics - The School:

Teacher of Physics - Requirements:
  1. UK QTS
  2. A specialism in Physics is desirable. Strong Biology and Chemistry applicants will be considered
  3. Strong subject knowledge
  4. Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  5. A commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration with colleagues
  6. Experience teaching at GCSE and A-Level is desirable but not essential for the right candidate - ECT applications are welcomed
