Salary – Competitive, based upon the United Learning pay scale (between £35,000 and £51,000)

William Hulme’s Grammar School (WHGS) is an all-through school and one of the most over-subscribed schools in Manchester. We have an excellent reputation and high aspirations for all our students, who enjoy an academic and creatively rich curriculum and are equipped with the skills that will help them to become responsible members of the local and global community.
We are looking for a well-qualified graduate of Physics (or Physics related degree) with excellent subject knowledge, good organisational and time management skills, and the ability to enthuse our students in the pursuit of Physics. You will contribute further to a thriving Science Faculty in both its curricular and extra-curricular opportunities. The successful candidate will be able to teach Science at KS3 and primarily within subject specialisms at KS4. An ability to teach Physics at A level is desirable, but not essential.
This is the ideal position for an ambitious and dynamic teacher who sets the very highest academic standards, demands exemplary behaviour and has endless enthusiasm and passion for continuously improving teaching and learning.
