The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Physics to join our collaborative and professional Science department. You’ll be part of a school that values both academic excellence and personal growth!

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Physics across KS3 and KS4
• Prepare and potentially teach A-Level Physics
• Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching strategies
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Support pupils of all abilities, including SEN, EAL, and G&T
• Participate in the school’s co-curricular programme (minimum two activities)
• Uphold high standards of behaviour and pastoral care
• Embrace and integrate digital technologies in teaching and learning

You’ll be a positive, proactive educator who is passionate about inspiring young scientists. Whether newly qualified or experienced, you will be committed to your own development and that of your students.

• QTS with relevant subject specialism
• Strong subject knowledge in Physics
• Experience teaching Physics at KS3-KS4 (A-Level desirable)
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Ability to plan and deliver creative and inclusive lessons
• A team player who is fully involved in school life
• Empathy, kindness, and strong communication skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
