Teacher of Physics | Bexley | Leading Secondary School | September 2025

Are you a Teacher of Physics looking to join an Outstanding Secondary School in September 2025?

An 'Outstanding' and supportive Secondary School in the Borough of Bexley is seeking a Teacher of Physics for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time and permanent position.

The current Physics Head of Department has helped the Physics Department thrive. The team includes young, experienced, and Teach First Teachers, along with Physics graduate Teaching Assistants who support attainment across KS3, 4 & 5.

This school has achieved impressive Progress 8 results across KS3, 4 & 5 and fosters a fun, creative learning environment.

Experienced Physics Teachers can take on TLR roles such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibilities, and more.

Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs) will be enrolled in the school's bespoke ECT induction program and will work alongside a range of young and experienced Physics teachers.

Person Specification - Teacher of Physics

1. Must have UK QTS or be in the process of obtaining it
2. Strong academic background (Degree, A Levels, GCSEs)
3. Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards at 'Good' or 'Outstanding'
4. Ability to work as part of a large Physics team
5. Willingness to accept feedback
