A local education authority in Clydebank is looking for enthusiastic candidates to support school improvement and deliver quality teaching. Applicants must have Catholic Church Approval and relevant teaching certificates for denominational schools. This position involves regulated responsibilities, including PVG membership. Post 1: 35 hours Permanent

For Vacancies at Denominational Schools:
Evidence of Catholic Church Approval: Applicants must seek Catholic Church approval when submitting their application and provide a copy to the Chair of the Panel prior to the interview. If pending, confirmation of submission will be sought from the Church Representative.
Denominational Primary Posts: Applicants must have the Catholic Teaching Certificate or Catholic Religious Education Certificate. Further information and forms are available at: Scottish Catholic Education Service.
Denominational Secondary Posts: Applicants need RC approval for the specific school. Details are available at the same SCES website.
This role is considered a Regulated Role with Children under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. Membership with the PVG scheme is essential, and preferred applicants will need to join or update their PVG scheme membership prior to a formal offer.
The employment is excepted from section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975. Applicants must disclose all convictions, including spent ones, as failure to do so may result in dismissal or disciplinary action.
