Evidence of Catholic Church Approval: Applicants must seek Catholic Church approval when submitting their application. A copy of the approval should be provided to the Chair of the Panel before the interview. If approval is pending, confirmation of submission will be sought from the Church Representative.
Denominational Primary Posts: Applicants must have the Catholic Teaching Certificate or Catholic Religious Education Certificate. Further information and forms are available at Scottish Catholic Education Service.

This role is a regulated position under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020, requiring membership of the PVG scheme. Membership or an update check is required before a formal offer. The role is excepted from section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975; failure to disclose convictions may lead to dismissal or disciplinary action.
