About This Role
The Physical Education department provides education to all students in Years 7 to 11 as part of our ‘core Physical Education’ programme. Students can begin to study Physical Education in more depth from Year 9, with GCSE and vocational routes being offered in Key Stage 4.
At Sixth Form, A level Physical Education is offered and in addition the department contributes to the wider enrichment programme in the Sixth Form.
The department has a strong extracurricular emphasis, with sporting teams running across the school in a range of sports (netball, hockey, football, rugby, cross country) with students also engaging in a range of other sporting opportunities as they arise.

- Vision and commitment
- Previous experience of teaching Physical Education is desirable; we welcome applications from ECTS
- A committed professional
- Able to build strong and effective relationships with colleagues at all levels and act as a role model to our students.
Salary And Benefits
M1 to UPS3 equates to £31,650 to £49,083 (0.6 FTE). Actual salary £18,990 to £29,449 pro-rated for part-time.
